Power and speed figures are manufacturer ratings. Rider load, battery level, temperature, traction and hills affect real-world performance.

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

The 29-mile figure is manufacturer claimed; real-world range varies with riding and environmental conditions.
A solid rear tire reduces puncture risk but provides less cushioning than a pneumatic tire. Drum brakes should still be inspected and used progressively on long descents.
IPX5 is a controlled-test rating, not waterproofing. Avoid deep puddles, immersion, pressure washing, and charging before the port is dry.
Folding reduces storage size, not lifting weight. Test the 46 lb lift in person when daily stairs are part of the routine.
The Dualtron Dolphin is a compact single-motor commuter scooter built for riders who want Dualtron controls and suspension without the size and weight of the brand’s performance models. The current North American configuration pairs a 36V 15Ah Samsung battery with up to 1000W maximum motor power, a manufacturer-listed top speed of up to 35 km/h and a claimed range of up to 29 miles (about 47 km). Real-world range and speed depend on rider weight, hills, temperature, wind, tire condition and riding style.
The Dolphin is not a smaller Storm, Achilleus or X Limited. Its advantage is everyday usability: a 46 lb (about 21 kg) folding chassis, manageable single-motor power and a low-maintenance mixed tire setup. The tubeless front tire adds cushioning while the solid rear tire removes rear puncture risk.
Front and rear spring suspension help isolate common road joints and cracked pavement. Dual drum brakes are supported by electronic braking, ABS and EBS functions for predictable commuter stopping. The Dolphin also includes a dedicated headlight, rear brake light and integrated turn signals.
The EY1 display provides speed and battery information and connects to the Dualtron app for supported settings and diagnostics. NFC access adds convenient electronic unlocking, but riders should still use a strong physical lock in public. Compare other models in the Dualtron electric scooter collection or browse all electric scooters.
The Dolphin suits short-to-medium urban commutes, apartment or office storage and riders who occasionally need to lift a scooter into a vehicle. Its 100 kg maximum rider rating and compact format make it a commuter-first Dualtron rather than a high-speed performance platform.
ProMechBC offers local setup guidance, electric scooter repair in Vancouver and access to electric scooter parts and accessories.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.
Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
The service was incredibly fast, professional and efficient — they fixed my scooter wheel quickly and the quality of the repair was outstanding. Honest, reliable, professional and fast.
