Apollo Go: 1500W Peak, 58 km Range & Airflow Suspension

Current Apollo Go details on dual-motor output, the 36V 15Ah battery, Eco-mode range, Airflow suspension, braking and daily portability.

01 Motor performance

Dual 350W motors in a compact commuter

The Apollo Go uses dual 350W rated motors with up to 1500W of combined peak output. Apollo lists a top speed of up to 45 km/h and a maximum incline rating of 25° under its test conditions.

Driving both wheels gives the Go stronger acceleration and hill traction than many single-motor commuters while keeping the chassis smaller and lighter than Apollo’s City and Phantom platforms.

  • 2 × 350 WRated motors
  • 1500 WCombined peak
  • 45 km/hTop speed

Speed and incline figures are manufacturer ratings. Rider weight, battery level, temperature, traction, and hill length can reduce real-world performance.

02 Between charges

540Wh battery with up to 58 km claimed range

The 36V 15Ah lithium battery provides 540Wh of capacity. Apollo currently lists up to 58 km of range in favourable Eco-mode conditions, with an approximate charging time of 7.5 hours.

Faster speeds, dual-motor acceleration, hills, cold weather, wind and rider weight reduce the distance available from a charge.

  • 540 WhBattery capacity
  • Up to 58 kmEco range
  • Approx. 7.5 hrCharge time

The 58 km figure is a best-case manufacturer rating in Eco mode. Real-world range is lower on hills, in winter, at higher speeds, or with frequent hard acceleration.

03 Ride control

Airflow suspension with self-sealing tires

Apollo Airflow suspension combines front and rear cushioning in a compact layout, while 9-inch self-sealing tubeless tires preserve the grip and comfort of pneumatic construction.

A rear drum brake provides durable mechanical stopping, and dual-motor regenerative braking adds progressive electronic deceleration while helping reduce routine wear.

  • AirflowSuspension
  • 9-inchSelf-sealing tires
  • Drum + dual regenBraking system

Self-sealing tires do not prevent every flat, and regenerative braking does not replace the rear drum brake. Maintain tire pressure and inspect the braking system regularly.

04 Wet-weather readiness

IP66 protection with integrated urban lighting

The Go carries an IP66 water-resistance rating and includes a prominent front light, handlebar and rear turn signals, rear lighting, and stem illumination to improve visibility from multiple directions.

The battery and scooter are listed with UL 2271 and UL 2272 certification. Wet-weather care still matters: avoid standing water and pressure washing, and dry the charge port before connecting power.

  • IP66Water resistance
  • IntegratedTurn signals
  • UL 2271/2272Certifications

IP66 is a controlled-test rating, not a waterproof guarantee. It does not cover immersion, deep puddles, pressure washing, or long-term water damage.

05 Storage and carrying

22.2 kg with a compact folding format

The Apollo Go weighs approximately 22.2 kg and supports riders up to 129 kg. Its folding stem and compact chassis are easier to move through homes, offices, and vehicles than Apollo’s larger dual-motor scooters.

It remains a substantial two-handed lift for most riders, but the lower weight is a meaningful advantage for occasional stairs and vehicle loading.

  • 22.2 kgProduct weight
  • 129 kgMax rider load
  • FoldingStem design

A folding stem reduces storage size, not lifting weight. Test the 22.2 kg lift in person when stairs are part of the daily routine.

Apollo Go Electric Scooter

The Apollo Go 2024 Electric Scooter is a compact dual-motor commuter for riders who want better hill traction and premium connected features without moving to the size and weight of a full-scale performance scooter.

Apollo Go Specs: Dual Motors, Speed and Range

Dual 350W rated motors provide up to 1500W combined peak output. Apollo lists a top speed of roughly 45 km/h and a manufacturer-rated Eco-mode range up to 58 km from the 36V 15Ah (540Wh) battery. Faster riding, hills, cold weather, rider weight and frequent hard acceleration reduce real-world range.

Airflow Suspension and Everyday Portability

Apollo Airflow suspension, 9-inch self-sealing tubeless tires and a rear drum brake with regenerative braking create a commuter-focused setup. At approximately 22.2 kg with a 129 kg rider rating, the Go is easier to move than Apollo’s larger performance platforms but remains a substantial two-handed lift.

Apollo Go or a Larger Apollo Scooter?

The Go is a strong fit when dual-motor traction, compact dimensions and smart controls matter more than maximum battery size. The Apollo App supports ride data and supported performance settings, while the DOT display keeps essential information visible without a phone.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.

Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
