Any climbing claim assumes a rider putting in their share. A throttle-only ascent drains the pack far faster than the range figure suggests.

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

Up to 55 km is the manufacturer's figure, measured on flat ground, in warm weather, with a light rider holding a steady low speed. Vancouver hills, winter temperatures and stop-start traffic all cost you range. We have not yet run our own road test on this one; when we do, the tested figure goes in the spec table beside the claim.
BC requires a standard e-bike to stop from 32 km/h within 9 m on clean, level pavement. That is a dry-surface test — assume noticeably longer in Vancouver rain, and leave the gap to prove it.
Height charts assume average proportions. Two riders at the same height with different inseams will want different setups, so treat any published range as a starting point and expect to move the saddle and bars.
Pedal-assist levels are a controller setting, not a measurement. What one brand tunes into its middle level another spreads across two, so treat the count as a range of options rather than as a spec you can compare across bikes.
The CARBO Model S is a premium folding electric bike built around a lightweight carbon-fiber frame and a traditional multi-speed drivetrain. At approximately 15.3 kg including the battery, it is designed for commuters and travellers who want an electric bike that is easier to carry, store, and transport than most full-size e-bikes.
A 250W high-torque hub motor provides electric assistance for everyday city riding, while the 36V 6.7Ah Samsung lithium battery offers a manufacturer-rated assisted range of approximately 35–60 km.
Charging takes around 3.5 hours, and the battery can be charged on or off the bike. Real-world range varies with rider weight, assist level, hills, temperature, and riding conditions.
Unlike many compact folding e-bikes, the Model S uses a Shimano Altus 9-speed derailleur drivetrain, allowing riders to shift mechanically even when electric assistance is reduced or switched off.
A bottom-bracket torque and speed sensor adjusts motor assistance based on rider input, helping create a smoother and more natural pedaling experience.
The CARBO Model S uses a lightweight carbon-fiber folding frame designed to fold quickly for storage, commuting, or transport.
Its compact dimensions and low weight make it particularly practical for apartments, offices, RVs, boats, public transit, and riders who regularly need to lift or carry their bike.
The bike is equipped with Schwalbe Big Apple 20" × 2.0" tires, integrated front lighting, an external rear light, five pedal-assist levels, walk mode, and a USB charging port built into the battery system.
For riders looking for a CARBO Model S electric bike in Vancouver, ProMechBC provides local product support, service, repairs, and access to experienced electric-bike technicians.
The Model S is a strong choice for riders who prioritize light weight, folding convenience, carbon-fiber construction, and a traditional multi-speed cycling experience.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.
Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
The service was incredibly fast, professional and efficient — they fixed my scooter wheel quickly and the quality of the repair was outstanding. Honest, reliable, professional and fast.
