The CARBO Model S electric bike is a compact folding e-bike for riders who prioritize low weight, responsive pedal assistance and normal bicycle gearing. Its Toray carbon-fibre frame folds for apartments, offices, RVs and vehicle storage, while the pedal-assist configuration is listed at approximately 15.3 kg including the battery.
A torque-and-speed sensor responds to rider effort, and the 9-speed Shimano Altus or Microshift drivetrain lets you choose an efficient gear whether assistance is active or not. Motor options vary by configuration, with 250W standard and a 350W upgrade available on applicable versions.
The 36V 6.7Ah Samsung-cell battery is paired with an optional 10.5Ah upgrade on applicable configurations. Published assistance range is approximately 40–65 km, depending on battery choice, assist level, terrain, temperature, tire pressure and rider input. The removable battery can be charged on or off the bike.
The Model S is a better match than a fat-tire e-bike when lifting, storage and multimodal travel are priorities. Its compact tires and rigid carbon fork favour paved routes rather than rough off-road use.
