The CARBO Model X is a lightweight folding e-bike built for mixed transit, apartments, offices and riders who regularly need to lift or store their bike. Its Toray carbon-fiber frame helps keep complete-bike weight to approximately 13.3 kg including the battery.
The Model X uses a 250W rear-hub motor as standard, with an optional 350W upgrade on selected configurations. A carbon belt drive keeps the drivetrain clean and quiet, while torque-and-speed sensing and five assist levels make the bike feel more natural under pedal input. An optional thumb throttle is also available on configured variants; riders should check local rules before using throttle operation.
CARBO offers a 36V 6.7Ah battery and an optional 36V 10.5Ah battery. Depending on battery choice, assist level and riding conditions, the manufacturer lists approximately 35–65 km of assisted range. Charging is listed at about 3.5 hours.
Tektro HD-E350 hydraulic disc brakes and 20 × 2.0-inch Schwalbe Big Apple tires give the Model X a practical urban setup without adding conventional suspension weight. I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.
Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
The service was incredibly fast, professional and efficient — they fixed my scooter wheel quickly and the quality of the repair was outstanding. Honest, reliable, professional and fast.
