Maximum speed is a manufacturer figure for an unlocked configuration and appropriate private terrain. Rider weight, charge level, temperature, setup, and conditions affect performance.
The 200 km figure is a manufacturer maximum-range rating. Real-world range is lower at high speed, on hills, in cold weather, and with frequent high-output riding.
Hydraulic brakes require regular inspection and eventual bleeding. Tire pressure, steering setup, and suspension condition should be checked frequently on a high-speed scooter.
IPX5 does not cover immersion or deep standing water. Avoid pressure washing and make sure the charging area is dry.
Folding reduces storage size, not lifting weight. Ground-level storage is essential for most owners of a 50 kg scooter.
The Dualtron New Storm LTD is a flagship hyper-scooter built around an 84V 45Ah LG 21700 battery, dual hub motors with up to 11,500W maximum output, and a manufacturer-rated range of up to 200 km. Dualtron lists an unlocked speed of approximately 100 km/h for appropriate private-terrain use.
The high-voltage drivetrain is designed for experienced riders who want extreme acceleration, steep-grade capability, and very large battery reserve. Real-world range falls as speed, hills, cold weather, rider load, wind, and repeated hard acceleration increase.
Front and rear four-piston NUTT hydraulic brakes use 160mm rotors, while 11-inch ultra-wide tubeless tires work with adjustable rubber-cartridge suspension. A steering damper and wider cockpit further support stability.
The EY4 colour display supports Bluetooth connectivity with the Dualtron app. The current manufacturer specification also lists IPX5 water resistance; this is protection against water exposure, not waterproofing, so deep standing water, immersion, and pressure washing should still be avoided.
The Dualtron X LTD is larger and heavier, with a still more substantial chassis. The Storm LTD remains a flagship-class machine but is the more manageable of the two for riders who do not need the X LTD’s maximum scale.
