Why riders choose the Emmo E-wild C2

EMMO E-Wild C2: Fat-Tire All-Terrain E-Bike Features

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

01 Motor support

500W continuous assistance with up to 750W peak

The E-Wild C2 uses a geared hub motor rated at 500W continuous with up to 750W peak output. The drivetrain is designed for commuter and mixed-terrain assistance rather than motorcycle-style power delivery.

Selecting an appropriate mechanical gear and continuing to pedal on climbs reduces motor strain and battery use, especially when the bike is carrying a heavier load.

  • 500 WContinuous power
  • 750 WPeak power
  • Geared hubMotor type

Hill performance depends on rider input, load, battery level, terrain, traction, and temperature. Throttle-only climbing uses substantially more energy.

02 Between charges

Up to 840Wh with a 110 km manufacturer claim

The available 48V 17.5Ah SafeSeal battery provides up to 840Wh of capacity. EMMO lists a maximum range of up to 110 km, with approximately six to eight hours for charging.

Pedal effort, assist level, throttle use, rider weight, hills, cold weather, cargo, wind, and fat-tire pressure all have a strong effect on actual distance.

  • Up to 840 WhBattery capacity
  • Up to 110 kmClaimed range
  • Approx. 6–8 hrCharge time

The 110 km figure is a best-case manufacturer rating. Real-world range is lower with high assist, throttle use, hills, cold weather, cargo, or low tire pressure.

03 Ride control

Front and rear disc brakes with full suspension

Front and rear disc brakes provide predictable control, while the full-suspension setup helps manage repeated impacts and vibration on rougher surfaces.

The 26 × 4-inch fat tires create a broad contact patch for stability across pavement, gravel, packed snow and uneven ground. Tire pressure still needs to match the surface and load.

  • Hydraulic discBrakes
  • FullSuspension
  • Fat tireAll-terrain setup

Hydraulic brakes require inspection and eventual service. Fat tires improve stability but do not eliminate longer stopping distances on wet, loose, or icy surfaces.

04 Fit and weight

45 kg aluminum all-terrain platform

The aluminum-frame E-Wild C2 is listed at 45 kg with a maximum load of 180 kg (400 lb). Its overall dimensions are approximately 190 × 73 × 110 cm.

The substantial weight contributes to a planted feel but makes stairs and transit impractical for most riders. Saddle height, reach and standover should be checked in person.

  • Approx. 150 kgLoad capacity
  • AluminumFrame

Published dimensions and load ratings do not guarantee fit. Rider inseam, reach, mobility, and intended cargo should be checked in person.

05 Drivetrain

Seven mechanical gears with nine assist levels

The Shimano MF-TZ500-7 drivetrain provides seven mechanical gears, while up to nine pedal-assist levels and a thumb throttle let the rider adjust motor support for different routes.

Using a lower gear on climbs keeps cadence comfortable and reduces load on the motor, chain, and battery. Chain cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment remain normal maintenance items.

  • 7-speedShimano drivetrain
  • Up to 9Assist levels
  • ThumbThrottle control

Assist-level counts are controller settings rather than a standardized measurement. Use the mechanical gears as well as the motor support to protect range and drivetrain life.

EMMO E-Wild C2 Fat-Tire All-Terrain Electric Bike

The EMMO E-Wild C2 electric bike combines a 750W geared hub motor with a removable 48V 17.5Ah SafeSeal battery, 26 × 4-inch fat tires and a full-suspension frame. It is designed for riders who split their time between pavement, gravel, packed snow and rougher recreational routes.

Up to 110 km Manufacturer-Rated Range

EMMO lists up to 840Wh of battery capacity and a maximum range of up to 110 km (70 miles). Actual range depends heavily on pedal effort, assist level, throttle use, rider and cargo weight, hills, temperature, wind and tire pressure. Charging is listed at approximately six to eight hours.

Controls for Mixed-Surface Riding

Seven Shimano mechanical gears, up to nine pedal-assist levels and a thumb throttle let riders adjust support as terrain changes. Front and rear disc brakes, full suspension and a digital backlit display complete the functional setup. The electrical system and battery are listed by EMMO as certified to UL 2849 and UL 2271.

E-Wild C2 vs a City E-Bike

The E-Wild C2 offers more tire volume and rough-surface stability than a light city commuter, but its 45 kg listed weight makes carrying it upstairs or onto transit difficult. Explore more EMMO e-bikes, browse all electric bikes, or book e-bike service in Vancouver.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.

Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
