The Heybike Alpha is a fat-tire mid-drive e-bike built for riders who want stronger low-speed climbing response and more balanced weight distribution than a typical rear-hub setup. Its 500W Mivice mid-drive motor produces 105 N·m of torque and is paired with a removable 680Wh battery.
Heybike rates the Alpha for up to 60 miles of assisted range. The 26 × 4-inch fat tires and hydraulic front suspension make it suitable for rough pavement, gravel and recreational mixed-surface riding while retaining everyday commuter usability.
Hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano Altus 8-speed gearing give the rider better control over the mid-drive system. The Alpha is offered in step-through and step-over frame styles, weighs about 71.6 lb (32.5 kg), and has a rated payload of up to 400 lb.
