02 Range
How far, honestly
Lithium packs lose capacity with age and with cold. A two-year-old battery in February will not do what a new one did in July, and no range figure on any page accounts for that.
03 Brakes
Stopping is the spec nobody shops on
BC requires a standard e-bike to stop from 32 km/h within 9 m on clean, level pavement. That is a dry-surface test — assume noticeably longer in Vancouver rain, and leave the gap to prove it.

Heybike Villain High-Performance Electric Dirt Bike
The Heybike Villain Electric Dirt Bike is built for riders looking for serious off-road performance in a compact electric pit-bike platform. Powered by a 4160W peak mid-drive motor producing up to 190 N·m of torque, the Villain delivers strong acceleration and responsive power for trails, dirt tracks, private property, and other permitted off-road riding areas.
A 52V 26Ah (1352Wh) lithium battery provides a manufacturer-rated range of up to 50 miles (approximately 80 km), while three selectable speed modes let riders adjust performance for different riding situations. In its highest performance mode, Heybike lists a maximum speed of up to 45 mph (approximately 72 km/h).
4160W Peak Mid-Drive Motor
At the heart of the Heybike Villain is a 4160W peak mid-drive motor with up to 190 N·m of torque.
The mid-drive layout sends power through the drivetrain to the rear wheel, providing strong acceleration and climbing capability for recreational off-road riding. Three selectable speed modes allow riders to choose a more manageable setting or unlock higher performance when conditions allow.
Actual acceleration, speed, and climbing performance vary with rider weight, battery level, terrain, traction, temperature, and riding conditions.
Up to 45 mph Top Speed
The Heybike Villain offers three selectable performance modes. Heybike lists maximum speeds of approximately 20 mph, 38 mph, and 45 mph, depending on the selected mode and market configuration.
At its highest manufacturer-listed setting, the Villain can reach up to 45 mph (72 km/h).
Maximum speed can vary with rider weight, battery charge, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, and other riding conditions.
52V 26Ah Battery and Up to 80 km Range
The Villain uses a 52V 26Ah lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of approximately 1352Wh.
Heybike rates the bike for up to 50 miles (approximately 80 km) of range under suitable conditions. Real-world off-road range may be significantly lower when riding at high speeds, climbing steep terrain, accelerating aggressively, or riding in cold weather.
Off-Road Suspension
The Heybike Villain is equipped with an off-road suspension system designed to help maintain control and comfort over dirt, gravel, uneven trails, and rough terrain.
Its front suspension works together with a nitrogen rear shock to help absorb impacts and keep the tires in contact with uneven surfaces during recreational riding.
Suspension performance and setup should be adjusted appropriately for rider weight, terrain, and riding style.
Hydraulic Braking
Hydraulic brakes provide the stopping system for the Heybike Villain, offering progressive braking control suited to a higher-powered electric dirt bike.
