Why riders choose the NAMI Klima

What makes it a high-performance scooter.

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

01 Motor

67 km/h on the flat

1000W x 2 hub motors, rated to 67 km/h. Vancouver has more hills than flat, and the fourth of them on the ride home is where an underpowered machine starts to fade.

Power is easy to sell and hard to live with. The specification that matters is not the peak figure but how much of it is available when the battery is half empty and the motor is hot — which is exactly the condition a commute puts it in, and exactly the condition a showroom never does.

  • 67 km/hTop speed

Manufacturer power figures are measured on a bench, not on a hill with a rider on board. Use them to compare models, not to predict what you will feel.

02 Distance

60V 25Ah of usable pack

70 km claimed, 60V 25Ah. Charging takes 5 hours with 5A fast charger, and that is the figure that actually shapes your week — a pack you top up overnight without thinking about it beats a bigger one you have to plan around.

Range is the most quoted figure in this category and the least reliable, because it is measured in the conditions most favourable to it. What actually shapes your week is charge time and how much margin you have left at the end of a normal day — a pack you top up twice a week without thinking about it beats a bigger one you have to plan around.

70 km is the manufacturer's figure, measured on flat ground, in warm weather, with a light rider holding a steady low speed. Vancouver hills, winter temperatures and stop-start traffic all cost you range. We have not yet run our own road test on this one; when we do, the tested figure goes in the spec table beside the claim.

03 Handling

10 inches of contact patch

Front and Rear Logan full hydraulic disc brake, 10 inches tyres. Braking, tyre and suspension are one system and only as good as the weakest of the three: the best calipers stop nothing once the tyre lets go, and grip is what suspension exists to protect when the surface stops cooperating. All of it is working against 36 kg of machine before you add a rider, which is the load every stop has to absorb.

Confidence is the actual product here. A machine that stops predictably, in the wet, from speed, on a surface you did not choose, is one you ride assertively and therefore safely. One you have to think about is one you ride tentatively, which is its own kind of risk.

Hydraulic discs give the best stopping force per finger, and they need bleeding eventually. Bring it in when the lever starts feeling soft rather than waiting for it to reach the bar.

IP55 against a wet commute

IP55 rated, Headlight: 2000 lumen front LED light, · Signal Light: Turn Signal Lights · Light: Side LED strip, 10 inches tyres. Half of the riding year here is wet and dark, which puts sealing and lighting in the same category as brakes rather than in the category of extras. KKE hydraulic coil shock with rebound adjustment keeps the tyre pressed to a surface that stops cooperating the moment it rains.

Being seen matters more here than being dry. Half of the riding year is done in low light and rain, when a driver's attention is already stretched, and lighting that is genuinely bright and permanently mounted is worth more than any amount of reflective clothing you have to remember to put on.

  • IP55Ingress rating
  • 10 inchesTyre

IP55 covers rain and road spray. It does not cover immersion — riding through standing water, or pressure-washing the machine, will get water past that seal and into the controller, and no warranty covers it. Wipe it down instead.

36 kg to carry

36 kg. The number that decides whether a scooter gets used is rarely the range — it is whether you can carry it up a flight of stairs, into a boot or onto a bus rack without planning your day around it. Rated to 120 kg, so the weight it carries and the weight you carry are both accounted for.

Weight and folded size are a trade against everything else on this page. Bigger batteries, real suspension and proper brakes all add mass, and the right answer depends entirely on whether your ride ends at a bike rack or at the top of three flights. Be honest about which one you have.

36 kg is a two-handed lift for most people, not a one-handed one. If it has to go on a bus rack or up stairs daily, come and pick it up in the shop first.

NAMI Klima Electric Scooter

The NAMI Klima Electric Scooter is a premium dual-motor performance scooter built around responsive power delivery, highly adjustable ride dynamics, and the distinctive tubular chassis that has become a signature of NAMI Electric.

With dual 1000W motors, a 60V 25Ah battery, dual 40A controllers, long-travel hydraulic suspension, full hydraulic braking, NFC access, and extensive ride-mode customization, the Klima is designed for experienced riders who want serious performance without moving into the much larger dimensions of NAMI’s BURN-E platform.

Dual 1000W Motors with Up to 5376W Maximum Power

The Klima uses two 1000W motors controlled by dual 40A controllers, with NAMI listing a maximum system output of approximately 5376W.

That dual-motor architecture gives the Klima strong acceleration and traction, particularly on hills and during more demanding riding.

One of NAMI’s strengths is that the scooter’s performance is not limited to a few rigid factory presets. The rider can tune how aggressively each motor responds, creating anything from a relatively relaxed urban setup to a much more performance-oriented configuration.

60V 25Ah Battery & Long-Range Capability

The standard Klima uses a 60V 25Ah battery with approximately 1500Wh of capacity. NAMI currently lists up to 100 km of range when riding at a regulated 25 km/h under its specified conditions.

Real-world range will naturally vary with speed, acceleration, rider weight, elevation, temperature, wind, and riding style.

For many riders, 1500Wh represents a useful sweet spot: enough battery capacity for long urban and recreational rides without moving to the larger 1800Wh battery used in the Klima Max.

Adjustable KKE Hydraulic Suspension

Ride quality is one of the Klima’s defining characteristics.

The current model uses KKE hydraulic suspension with approximately 150 mm of travel and adjustment capability, allowing riders to tune the setup according to rider weight, road conditions, and preferred ride feel.

This is particularly valuable on rough city streets, where the suspension can absorb larger imperfections without giving the scooter the oversized footprint of some heavier hyper-scooters.

Full Hydraulic Brakes

The Klima uses front and rear hydraulic brakes with two-piston calipers and 140 mm rotors.

The hydraulic system provides controlled, progressive braking and suits the level of performance available from the dual-motor drivetrain.

NAMI’s current specification also lists a manufacturer-measured braking distance of approximately 4.8 metres from 25 km/h to zero under its testing conditions.

Tubeless CST Road Tires

NAMI currently specifies CST tubeless road tires for the Klima platform. The latest public product page lists 11-inch tires, while older official Klima documentation lists a 10 × 3-inch configuration, indicating that tire specification may depend on the production revision.

Because of that revision difference, buyers should confirm the tire size fitted to the exact production unit rather than assuming every Klima generation is identical.

Highly Customizable Ride Modes

A major reason enthusiasts gravitate toward NAMI scooters is the depth of drivetrain customization.

The Klima allows the rider to configure parameters such as front- and rear-motor output, acceleration strength, electronic braking behaviour, and individual riding profiles through the scooter’s onboard interface.

This makes the Klima particularly appealing to riders who want to tailor the scooter to different situations instead of simply switching between generic Eco and Sport presets.

NFC Access & Smart Dashboard

The Klima includes an NFC access system along with NAMI’s smart dashboard.

NFC provides a convenient electronic method for activating the scooter, while the central display gives riders direct access to performance information and configurable ride settings.

The dashboard and controller carry an IP65 protection rating, while NAMI rates the overall scooter at IPX5.

Integrated Lighting & Turn Signals

NAMI equips the Klima with front and rear LED lighting plus integrated turn signals.

Earlier official Klima documentation also describes a powerful front LED light and integrated side lighting, reinforcing the platform’s focus on visibility as well as performance.

Klima vs. Klima One

The Klima One shares much of the same chassis philosophy but serves a noticeably different purpose.

The standard Klima uses dual 1000W motors and two 40A controllers, while the Klima One uses a single 1000W motor and one 40A controller. Both use a 60V 25Ah battery, but the One prioritizes efficiency and maximum distance while the standard Klima prioritizes acceleration and dual-motor traction.

For riders dealing with steeper routes or wanting stronger performance, the standard Klima is the more appropriate choice. For riders whose main priority is efficiency and extended cruising range, the Klima One has a clear advantage.

Klima vs. Klima Max

The Klima Max retains the same dual 1000W motor architecture but upgrades the battery to 60V 30Ah / 1800Wh, compared with the standard Klima’s 60V 25Ah / 1500Wh pack.

NAMI lists approximately 100 km at 25 km/h for the standard Klima versus 120 km for the Klima Max under similar regulated-speed conditions.

That makes the standard Klima attractive for riders who want the same core dual-motor performance but do not necessarily need the extra battery capacity and weight of the Max.

Compact by High-Performance Standards

NAMI lists the standard Klima at approximately 37.6 kg, with a maximum supported rider weight of 110 kg.

That is far too heavy to call a portable commuter, but it remains significantly more compact and manageable than many heavyweight 50–80 kg hyper-scooters.

The relatively compact chassis is one of the reasons the Klima has a distinct personality within the NAMI lineup: substantial performance without the enormous proportions of the BURN-E family.

Who Is the NAMI Klima Best For?

The NAMI Klima Electric Scooter is best suited to experienced riders who prioritize responsive dual-motor performance, premium suspension, hydraulic braking, extensive ride tuning, and long-distance capability.

Its biggest strengths are the 60V drivetrain, large 1500Wh battery, adjustable KKE suspension, highly configurable motor behaviour, NFC access, and more compact dimensions compared with flagship hyper-scooters.

Riders primarily concerned with portability may find the Klima unnecessarily heavy. Riders who want maximum possible range may prefer the Klima One or Klima Max depending on whether they prioritize efficiency or dual-motor performance.

For riders searching for a NAMI Klima Electric Scooter in Vancouver, the standard Klima offers one of the most compelling combinations of premium ride quality, dual-motor power, sophisticated tuning, and long-range capability in NAMI’s lineup.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.
