Why riders choose the NAVEE G5 Pro

What makes it a smart commuter scooter.

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

01 Under throttle

400 W when you ask for it

800W, 400 W peak, rated to 32 km/h. It is rated to 20%, and that gradient figure is the one that matters here — Vancouver has more hills than flat, and the fourth of them on the ride home is where an underpowered machine starts to fade.

Power is easy to sell and hard to live with. The specification that matters is not the peak figure but how much of it is available when the battery is half empty and the motor is hot — which is exactly the condition a commute puts it in, and exactly the condition a showroom never does.

  • 400 WPeak power
  • 32 km/hTop speed
  • 20%Max gradient

A gradient rating is measured with a light rider on dry ground. Loaded, wet, or with a low battery, treat 20% as optimistic.

02 Distance

46.8V 7.65Ah of usable pack

46.8V 7.65Ah. Charging takes 8 hrs, and that is the figure that actually shapes your week — a pack you top up overnight without thinking about it beats a bigger one you have to plan around.

The number worth knowing is not how far it goes on a perfect day, but how far it still goes in February with a headwind and a cold pack. Batteries lose capacity in the cold and regain it when they warm; a pack with genuine headroom absorbs that, and one bought exactly to your commute length does not.

  • 46.8 VBattery
  • 8 hrsCharge time

Lithium packs lose capacity with age and with cold. A two-year-old battery in February will not do what a new one did in July, and no range figure on any page accounts for that.

03 Ride feel

Front :Drum brake when it counts

Front :Drum brake; Rear: EABS, 10 inches tyres. Braking, tyre and suspension are one system and only as good as the weakest of the three: the best calipers stop nothing once the tyre lets go, and grip is what suspension exists to protect when the surface stops cooperating. All of it is working against 21.2 kg of machine before you add a rider, which is the load every stop has to absorb.

Confidence is the actual product here. A machine that stops predictably, in the wet, from speed, on a surface you did not choose, is one you ride assertively and therefore safely. One you have to think about is one you ride tentatively, which is its own kind of risk.

  • 10 inchesTyre
  • 21.2 kgWeight
  • 120 kgMax rider weight

Drum brakes are close to maintenance-free and completely unbothered by rain, but they fade on long descents in a way discs do not. On a steep hill, brake in stages instead of dragging them.

04 All-weather

Seen in the dark at 4pm

IPX5 rated, Headlight: Yes, 10 inches tyres. Half of the riding year here is wet and dark, which puts sealing and lighting in the same category as brakes rather than in the category of extras. Front Fork+Rear Arm Suspension keeps the tyre pressed to a surface that stops cooperating the moment it rains.

Vancouver's riding season is mostly wet and mostly dark, which makes sealing and lighting the difference between a machine you use in November and one you look at. Water finds bearings, connectors and controllers first, and the damage from it is gradual enough that you notice it as unreliability rather than as a leak.

  • IPX5Ingress rating
  • 10 inchesTyre

IPX5 covers rain and road spray. It does not cover immersion — riding through standing water, or pressure-washing the machine, will get water past that seal and into the controller, and no warranty covers it. Wipe it down instead.

05 Carrying it

Folds to 1138 × 570 × 544 mm

21.2 kg, folded to 1138 × 570 × 544 mm. The number that decides whether a scooter gets used is rarely the range — it is whether you can carry it up a flight of stairs, into a boot or onto a bus rack without planning your day around it. Rated to 120 kg, so the weight it carries and the weight you carry are both accounted for.

Weight and folded size are a trade against everything else on this page. Bigger batteries, real suspension and proper brakes all add mass, and the right answer depends entirely on whether your ride ends at a bike rack or at the top of three flights. Be honest about which one you have.

  • 21.2 kgWeight
  • 120 kgMax rider weight
  • 10 inchesTyre

21.2 kg is a two-handed lift for most people, not a one-handed one. If it has to go on a bus rack or up stairs daily, come and pick it up in the shop first.

With a strong rear-drive motor, dual suspension, tubeless tires, and integrated connectivity features, the G5 Pro offers a balanced package for riders who want a capable electric scooter for regular urban use.

800W Peak Motor Performance

The NAVEE G5 Pro is powered by a 400W rated motor with up to 800W maximum power. NAVEE lists a maximum climbing capability of 20%, giving the scooter enough performance for typical city routes and moderate inclines. The North American version is rated for speeds of up to 32 km/h.

Up to 55 km Manufacturer-Rated Range

A 46.8V 358.02Wh battery provides a manufacturer-rated maximum range of approximately 55 km at 15 km/h under NAVEE’s specified test conditions. Charging time is approximately 8 hours.

The scooter also features an energy recovery system that can recover energy during braking and throttle release, with regeneration intensity adjustable through the NAVEE app.

Dual Suspension for a Smoother Ride

The NAVEE G5 Pro electric scooter features a dual suspension system combining a front fork spring with NAVEE’s rear Damping Arm™ suspension. This setup is designed to reduce vibration and absorb impacts from uneven pavement, helping improve comfort during everyday commuting.

10-Inch Tubeless Tires & Dual Braking

Large 10-inch tubeless tires provide a stable contact patch and are designed with water-channeling tread for improved grip on wet surfaces. Braking is handled by a front drum brake and rear EABS electronic braking system, offering controlled and relatively low-maintenance stopping performance.

NAVEE also equips the G5 Pro with Traction Control System (TCS) technology to help improve stability when riding on slippery surfaces.

Smart Features for Everyday Commuting

A 4-inch suspended display provides clear access to speed, battery level, and other ride information. The scooter also supports the NAVEE app, Bluetooth proximity unlocking, and Apple Find My, adding useful convenience and security features for daily ownership.

Integrated turn signals, a 4W front light, rear lighting, and an IPX5 water-resistance rating further support everyday urban use. The G5 Pro has a maximum payload of 120 kg and weighs approximately 21.2 kg.

For riders looking for a NAVEE G5 Pro electric scooter in Vancouver, this model offers a strong mix of comfort-focused suspension, practical range, smart connectivity, and urban-friendly performance.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.

Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
