The OKAI Stride EB40 is a step-through commuter e-bike designed for everyday city riding. Its BAFANG rear-hub motor is rated at 500W nominal and up to 750W peak, with 65 N·m of torque for starts, moderate hills and loaded commuting.
The removable 460.8Wh battery uses LG cells and supports a manufacturer-rated assisted range of up to 40 miles (64 km). The EB40 ships at up to 20 mph (32 km/h), with OKAI listing app-unlocked operation up to 25 mph (40 km/h) where permitted and configured.
27.5 × 2.25-inch road tires, Shimano Altus 7-speed gearing, Tektro MD-M300 mechanical disc brakes, five riding modes and NFC access make the Stride EB40 a practical city-focused package. A rigid fork keeps the setup straightforward and low-maintenance.
