Why riders choose the Yozma IN 10 Electric Mini Dirt

What makes it a capable off-road electric mini dirt bike.

Every figure below is labelled with where it comes from, so a manufacturer’s claim never reads as a measurement.

01 Power

2600W peak power for off-road riding

designed for strong acceleration and climbing performance across trails, dirt, gravel, and other permitted off-road terrain.

Yozma rates the IN 10 for climbs of up to 30°, although actual performance varies with rider weight, battery level, traction, terrain, and riding conditions.`

Any climbing claim assumes a rider putting in their share. A throttle-only ascent drains the pack far faster than the range figure suggests.

02 The battery

How far, honestly

Range is the specification most likely to disappoint, because it is the one most sensitive to how and where you ride.

The number worth knowing is not how far it goes on a perfect day, but how far it still goes in February with a headwind and a cold pack. Batteries lose capacity in the cold and regain it when they warm; a pack with genuine headroom absorbs that, and one bought exactly to your commute length does not.

Lithium packs lose capacity with age and with cold. A two-year-old battery in February will not do what a new one did in July, and no range figure on any page accounts for that.

03 Control

Stopping is the spec nobody shops on

A loaded e-bike carries far more momentum than the bike it looks like. The brakes are chosen for that, not for the weight of the frame.

An e-bike carries far more mass and speed than the bicycle it is descended from, and the brakes are the component most often carried over unchanged. Consistent lever feel at the bottom of a long descent — no fade, no wandering bite point — is what you are paying for, and it is invisible until the one time you need it.

BC requires a standard e-bike to stop from 32 km/h within 9 m on clean, level pavement. That is a dry-surface test — assume noticeably longer in Vancouver rain, and leave the gap to prove it.

04 Fit

Fit is what you feel on day thirty

A bike that nearly fits is a bike that stays in the hallway. Come and stand over it before you decide.

Fit is the specification that decides whether a bike gets ridden after the first month, and it is the one that cannot be judged from a photograph. Reach, standover and saddle height interact — two riders of the same height with different inseams want genuinely different setups, and the adjustment range is what lets a bike belong to you rather than merely fit you.

Height charts assume average proportions. Two riders at the same height with different inseams will want different setups, so treat any published range as a starting point and expect to move the saddle and bars.

05 Drivetrain

Chain-driven power with three ride modes

The Yozma IN 10 uses a chain-driven drivetrain designed for recreational off-road riding. Three selectable speed modes allow the rider to manage power delivery for different riding situations.

As with any chain-driven dirt bike, regular inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and tension checks help maintain consistent performance and drivetrain life.`

Pedal-assist levels are a controller setting, not a measurement. What one brand tunes into its middle level another spreads across two, so treat the count as a range of options rather than as a spec you can compare across bikes.

Yozma IN 10 Electric Mini Dirt Bike — drivetrain

The Yozma IN 10 Electric Mini Dirt Bike is a compact off-road electric dirt bike designed for teens and adults who want strong electric performance in a smaller, more approachable platform. It features a 2600W peak brushless motor, up to 146 N·m of manufacturer-rated torque, a 48V 23.4Ah lithium-ion battery, hydraulic braking, full suspension, and a 14-inch front / 12-inch rear wheel setup.

With a manufacturer-rated range of up to 85 km (53 miles), the IN 10 is designed for recreational riding on trails, private property, dirt tracks, gravel, and other permitted off-road areas. Actual range varies with rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, battery level, and riding style.

Why Choose the Yozma IN 10?

The IN 10 offers a combination of compact dimensions, strong torque, off-road suspension, and hydraulic braking without stepping up to the larger and more powerful IN 10 Pro.

Key features include:

  • 2600W peak brushless motor

  • Up to 146 N·m of torque

  • 48V 23.4Ah lithium-ion battery

  • Up to 85 km manufacturer-rated range

  • Hydraulic front suspension

  • Nitrogen rear shock

  • Heavy-duty hydraulic brakes

  • 14-inch front / 12-inch rear wheels

  • Three selectable speed modes

  • IPX6 manufacturer-rated water resistance

  • 120 kg maximum load

  • 5–6 hour manufacturer-listed charging time

2600W Peak Electric Motor

The Yozma IN 10 uses a 2600W peak brushless motor designed to deliver strong acceleration and off-road performance in a compact chassis.

Yozma lists up to 146 N·m of torque, giving the IN 10 useful pulling power for hills, trails, and uneven terrain. Actual acceleration and climbing performance depend on rider weight, traction, battery level, terrain, and riding conditions.

How Fast Does the Yozma IN 10 Go?

Yozma lists different maximum speeds for different markets. The Canadian product page currently lists a top speed of 32 km/h, while Yozma's U.S. product page and official product article list performance of up to 40 mph (approximately 64 km/h).

For ProMechBC inventory, maximum performance may depend on the specific market configuration, riding mode, rider weight, battery level, terrain, and conditions.

48V 23.4Ah Battery and Up to 85 km Range

The IN 10 is powered by a 48V 23.4Ah lithium-ion battery. Yozma Canada lists a maximum range of up to 85 km, while the U.S. specification lists up to 53 miles, which is approximately the same distance.

Charging takes approximately 5–6 hours with the included 48V 5A charger. Real-world range can be lower when riding aggressively, climbing hills, riding in cold weather, or travelling over difficult terrain.

Full Suspension for Off-Road Riding

The Yozma IN 10 combines a hydraulic front fork with a nitrogen rear shock to help manage bumps, uneven ground, and rough off-road surfaces.

This suspension setup is designed for recreational trail riding and provides more control and comfort than a rigid-frame electric bike when terrain becomes uneven.

Hydraulic Braking

The IN 10 uses heavy-duty hydraulic brakes for controlled stopping performance.

Brake performance varies with speed, rider weight, terrain, tire grip, weather, and maintenance condition. Brake pads, rotors, tires, and hydraulic components should be inspected regularly when the bike is used off-road.

14" Front and 12" Rear Wheels

The IN 10 uses a 14-inch front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel, giving the bike a compact dirt-bike-style stance.

The smaller overall platform makes the IN 10 more approachable than the larger IN 10 Pro while still providing a dedicated off-road wheel and suspension setup.

Who Is the Yozma IN 10 For?

Yozma lists the IN 10 for riders approximately 120–180 cm tall and ages 14 and above. Rider fit also depends on inseam, experience, body proportions, and riding style.

The IN 10 is a good option for riders looking for:

  • A compact electric dirt bike for recreational off-road riding

  • More performance than a conventional electric bike

  • A smaller alternative to the IN 10 Pro

  • Hydraulic brakes and full suspension

  • A quieter electric alternative to a small gas-powered pit bike

Yozma IN 10 vs Yozma IN 10 Pro

Choose the Yozma IN 10 if you want:

  • A smaller and more approachable platform

  • 2600W peak motor output

  • 48V 23.4Ah battery

  • 14"/12" wheels

  • Up to 85 km manufacturer-rated range

  • Lower overall power than the Pro model

Choose the Yozma IN 10 Pro if you want:

  • A larger chassis

  • Significantly more peak power and torque

  • A larger battery

  • 17"/14" wheels

  • More aggressive off-road performance

  • A platform better suited to taller or more experienced riders

The regular IN 10 is the more compact and approachable model, while the IN 10 Pro is designed for riders looking for a substantial increase in size, power, and performance.

Is the Yozma IN 10 Street Legal in British Columbia?

The Yozma IN 10 should be treated as an off-road electric dirt bike, not as a standard street-legal motor-assisted cycle.

British Columbia's motor-assisted cycle rules require, among other criteria, a continuous motor output of no more than 500W. The IN 10 is a much higher-powered off-road machine and Yozma itself states that it is intended for off-road use rather than public roads.

Always check current provincial, municipal, trail, and land-use regulations before riding.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.
