Why riders choose the Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar

Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar 60V: Power, Range & Hydraulic Control

A focused look at the Stellar 60V motor output, battery range, suspension, braking and the differences that matter versus the 52V Phantom.

01 Motor performance

Up to 7000W combined peak with MACH 3 control

The Phantom Stellar uses a high-output dual-motor drivetrain managed by Apollo’s MACH 3 controller, with up to 7000W of combined peak output and a manufacturer-rated top speed of up to 85 km/h.

Eco, Normal, Sport, and Ludo modes progressively unlock performance, while Intelligent Traction Control and ProgressiV thumb throttles are designed to make power delivery easier to manage.

  • 7000 WCombined peak
  • 85 km/hTop speed
  • MACH 3Controller

Peak output and top speed are manufacturer ratings. Rider weight, battery level, temperature, traction, and riding conditions can reduce real-world performance.

02 Between charges

60V 30Ah battery with 43–90 km claimed

The 60V 30Ah Samsung-cell battery provides approximately 1.8kWh of capacity. Apollo lists about 43 km in Ludo, 54 km in Sport, 70 km in Normal, and up to 90 km in Eco mode, with an estimated ten-hour charge time.

The mode-specific figures show how strongly speed and acceleration affect energy use. Hills, cold weather, rider weight, wind, and repeated high-output riding reduce range further.

  • 60V 30AhBattery
  • 43–90 kmClaimed range
  • Approx. 10 hrCharge time

The 90 km figure is a best-case manufacturer rating in Eco mode. Real-world range is substantially lower in Sport or Ludo mode, on hills, or in cold weather.

03 Ride control

Four-piston braking and adjustable hydraulic suspension

Adjustable DNM dual hydraulic suspension and wide 11 × 4-inch self-healing tubeless tires create a substantial, tunable platform for higher-speed riding and changing surfaces.

Four-piston hydraulic brakes provide strong mechanical stopping, while Apollo Power RBS adds progressive dual-motor regenerative braking through a dedicated control.

  • DNM hydraulicSuspension
  • 11 × 4 inSelf-healing tires
  • 4-piston + RBSBraking system

Hydraulic brakes require inspection and eventual bleeding. Self-healing tires do not prevent every flat, and regenerative braking does not replace the mechanical brakes.

04 Wet-weather readiness

IP66 protection with Apollo Beam lighting

The Stellar carries an IP66 water-resistance rating and includes Apollo Beam lighting, integrated stem illumination, front and rear turn signals, and a rear fender light with brake signalling.

The integrated system improves visibility from multiple directions, but wet-weather care still matters: avoid standing water and pressure washing, and dry the scooter and charge port after exposure.

  • IP66Water resistance
  • Apollo BeamLighting system
  • Front + rearTurn signals

IP66 is a controlled-test rating, not a waterproof guarantee. It does not cover immersion, deep puddles, pressure washing, or long-term water damage.

05 Storage and weight

48.5 kg with a folding stem

The Stellar weighs approximately 48.5 kg, supports riders up to 150 kg, and folds to about 23.8 in high × 57.5 in long × 27.5 in wide.

Folding helps with garage or ground-level storage, but this is not a carry scooter. Its battery, hydraulic suspension, wide tires, braking hardware, and reinforced chassis are designed around performance and stability.

  • 48.5 kgProduct weight
  • 150 kgMax rider load
  • 23.8 × 57.5 × 27.5 inFolded size

Folding reduces storage size, not lifting weight. Ground-level storage is strongly recommended for a 48.5 kg scooter.

Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar 60V Performance Scooter

The Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar is the 60V flagship in the Phantom family. Its MACH 3 controller delivers up to 7000W of combined peak output, supporting a manufacturer-rated top speed of 85 km/h and a maximum Eco-mode range of 90 km from the 60V 30Ah (1800Wh) battery.

Four-piston hydraulic brakes, 2.3 mm rotors and adjustable DNM dual-hydraulic suspension are designed for control at performance speeds. The 11 × 4-inch PunctureGuard self-healing tubeless tires create a wider contact patch, while traction control, NFC, Apple Find My, DOT 2.0 and IP66 protection add a modern technology package.

Stellar 60V vs. Phantom 52V

The Stellar is the more powerful choice, with a larger battery, hydraulic suspension and four-piston brakes. Riders who want a more moderate balance of performance and weight can compare the Apollo Phantom 2.0 52V. Browse all Apollo electric scooters or compare the more commuter-focused Apollo City.

Who Is the Phantom Stellar Best For?

This scooter is intended for experienced riders who understand high-performance equipment and have suitable storage. At roughly 107 lb, it is not a portable commuter and should be ridden with appropriate protective gear and within local rules.

I drove all the way from Seattle to bring my daughter's scooter to ProMechBC and I could not be more pleased with both the repairs and the customer service. I will definitely be bringing the scooter North of the border when it needs some love.

Recently had an accident with my Apollo Go — luckily nothing major was damaged, but it still needed some repair and replacement parts. Service was great, and I got my scooter back within a week. :D
