Speed and gradient figures are manufacturer ratings. Rider weight, battery level, temperature, traction, and hill length can reduce real-world performance.
The 120 km figure is a manufacturer maximum-range rating. Real-world distance is lower at high speed, on hills, in winter, and with frequent dual-motor acceleration.
Hydraulic brakes require inspection and eventual bleeding. Tire pressure, brake condition, and suspension setup should be checked regularly on a high-performance scooter.
No whole-scooter IP rating is stated in the current product specifications. Avoid heavy rain, standing water, immersion, and pressure washing.
Folding reduces storage size, not lifting weight. Ground-level storage is strongly recommended for a 40.2 kg scooter.
The Dualtron New Achilleus is a high-performance dual-motor scooter built around a 60V 35Ah battery and dual motors rated at up to 2325W peak each, or approximately 4650W combined peak output. Dualtron lists up to 80 km/h in an unlocked private-terrain configuration and up to 120 km of maximum range under favourable conditions.
The 60V platform delivers substantial acceleration and hill-climbing reserve without moving into the size and weight of Dualtron’s largest flagship models. Speed and range vary with rider weight, battery level, temperature, terrain, wind, and riding style.
Front and rear NUTT hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors work with 11-inch tubeless tires and Dualtron’s adjustable rubber-cartridge suspension. This combination gives the Achilleus a strong balance of braking control, ride tuning, and road stability.
The EY4 display adds Bluetooth connectivity and supported app-based settings, diagnostics, and ride information. A wider cockpit and updated steering assembly further improve control on a performance-focused chassis.
The Dualtron New Storm LTD adds an 84V system, much more motor output, and considerably more weight. The Achilleus remains the more manageable choice for riders who want serious Dualtron performance without the scale of the flagship models.
