Apollo has one of the most complete electric scooter lineups on the market. The challenge is figuring out which model actually fits your riding style.
A rider looking for a lightweight commuter scooter has very different needs than someone shopping for a high-performance machine capable of handling longer rides, steep hills, and higher speeds.

Apollo Go

The Apollo Go 2024 is the smallest and most commuter-focused scooter in Apollo's current lineup.
Despite its compact size, it uses dual 350W motors and delivers noticeably better acceleration than most entry-level commuter scooters. The Airflow suspension system, self-sealing tubeless tires, and IP66 water resistance rating make it a strong option for daily transportation.
What stands out most about the Go is how manageable it feels. It is easier to store, easier to carry, and less intimidating than the larger Apollo models.
Best For:
- Daily commuters
- Apartment dwellers
- Students
- Riders who prioritize portability
Apollo Explore 2.0

The Apollo Explore 2.0 fills the gap between basic commuter scooters and higher-end performance models.
It uses a single motor capable of producing up to 1650W peak power and pairs it with a 48V battery, triple spring suspension, and 10-inch self-healing tubeless tires.
Compared to the Apollo Go, the Explore focuses more on comfort and range than compactness. Riders upgrading from a Segway Ninebot MAX, NIU, or similar commuter scooter will immediately notice the difference in ride quality and hill-climbing performance.
Best For:
- Longer commutes
- Riders upgrading from entry-level scooters
- Comfort-focused riders
- Weekend recreational riding
Apollo City

The Apollo City sits right in the middle of Apollo's lineup and is arguably the easiest model to recommend to the widest range of riders.
It combines dual-motor performance, up to 69 km of range, triple spring suspension, self-healing tires, and a practical commuter-focused design.
Unlike the Phantom models, the City still feels manageable for everyday use. At the same time, it delivers noticeably stronger acceleration and hill-climbing capability than the Go or Explore.
For many riders, the City hits the sweet spot between performance and practicality.
Best For:
- Daily commuting
- Riders dealing with hills
- Frequent riders
- Commuters wanting dual-motor performance
Apollo Phantom 2.0 52V

The Apollo Phantom 2.0 52V marks the transition from commuter scooters into true performance scooters.
With dual 1560W motors, a large 52V battery, 11-inch self-healing tires, dual disc brakes, and a top speed of up to 70 km/h, the Phantom 52V delivers a completely different riding experience than the City or Explore.
Acceleration is significantly stronger, stability improves at higher speeds, and the larger platform feels more planted during aggressive riding.
This is not a scooter most riders buy as their first electric scooter.
Best For:
- Experienced riders
- Performance enthusiasts
- Heavier riders
- Riders tackling steeper terrain
Apollo Phantom Stellar 60V
The Apollo Phantom 2.0 Stellar 60V is Apollo's flagship model currently available at ProMech BC.
It uses dual 3350W motors, a 60V battery system, DNM adjustable hydraulic suspension, and four-piston hydraulic brakes.
Compared to the Phantom 52V, the Stellar offers more power, more braking performance, and a more advanced suspension package.
The result is a scooter designed for riders who want the most capable Apollo platform available.
Best For:
- Advanced riders
- Long-distance riding
- High-performance riding
- Riders seeking Apollo's flagship model
Apollo Go vs Apollo Explore 2.0
This comparison usually comes down to portability versus comfort.
The Apollo Go is smaller, lighter, and easier to live with on a daily basis. Its dual-motor setup gives it strong acceleration for city riding, while the compact frame makes it ideal for riders with limited storage space.
The Explore 2.0 is larger, more comfortable, and offers greater range. Its 10-inch tires and triple spring suspension provide a smoother ride, especially on rough pavement.
Choose the Apollo Go if:
- Portability matters
- You want a compact commuter
- You prefer dual motors
Choose the Apollo Explore 2.0 if:
- You want more range
- Ride comfort is a priority
- You regularly ride longer distances
Apollo City vs Apollo Explore 2.0
These two models appeal to many of the same riders.
The Explore 2.0 offers excellent value and strong performance from its single-motor platform.
The City steps things up with dual-motor performance, higher top speed, longer range, and stronger hill-climbing capability.
If your commute includes hills or you simply want more performance without moving into Phantom territory, the City is the better option.

- You want a comfortable commuter
Choose the City if:
- You ride frequently
- You deal with hills
- You want stronger acceleration
- You want a premium commuter scooter

- Commuting is your main use
- You want practicality
- You do not need extreme performance
Choose the Phantom 52V if:
- Performance is your priority
- You want stronger acceleration

The Stellar adds a more powerful 60V platform, dual 3350W motors, adjustable DNM hydraulic suspension, and upgraded four-piston hydraulic brakes.
Choose the Phantom 52V if:
- You want serious performance
- You do not need the flagship model
- You want strong value within the Phantom lineup
Choose the Phantom Stellar 60V if:
- You want maximum performance
- You want the most advanced suspension package
